Spring 2024 Middle School League

We’re super excited to announce our Spring 2024 league is here! For new players/parents follow this link to learn more about ultimate frisbee. Please read the information below and don’t hesitate to contact Eric, eric@evultimate.org, if you have any more questions about the league.

Spring 2024 EVU teams will be organized by school. If you’re child's school doesn’t currently have a team please let us know which of our other schools you would like your kid to play for. We anticipate having teams at Roosevelt, Spencer Butte, Shasta, Monroe, ATA, Kennedy, Kelly, if we have enough coaches, we’d like to try to add additional teams to either Village School or Cal Young this season. If your child attends one of our schools without a team and you are interested in trying to get a team started there, please let me know and we can discuss if that is feasible! Any players in 5th-8th grade are welcome in this league.

Practices will on the week of April 15th. Practices are 1.5 hours twice a week. We generally aim for practice to be right after school around 3:45-5:15, but that will is still waiting to be finalized.

Games are going to be from 10-12 at Century fields starting Saturday 4/20. Games will be weekly on Saturday’s until our end of season tournament on 6/8. (No games Memorial Day Weekend)

This year we are trying a slightly new approach by having the scholarships available when you go to register. If you are in need of a discount please select the scholarship amount that fits your budget. One thing we don’t want, is for money to be the reason your child can’t play ultimate. If you need an additional discount please reach out and we can get you sorted out.

For anyone unsure if ultimate is a good fit for their child, we offer two free practices before requiring participants to sign up. Initial jersey orders are put in late September, so if you register after that you’ll have to get in on the late order. Registration is open through 10/1 for everyone. After 10/1 it is available on a case by case basis, please contact me if you are interested in signup up after that time.
